Quiero presentar un proyecto muy interesante sobre la interacción doméstica con la tecnología. Introducen la tecnología en la vivienda enseñando a desarrollar objetos interactivos a sus habitantes, una manera muy inteligente de aproximarse a lo doméstico. Proyectos como un cubo de basura que se cabrea cuando lo usas demasiado, un sistema de iluminación que avisa cuando los vecinos se han pasado de decibelios, una taza que te avisa de la hora del te, etc.
” WHAT: Homesense is a project that rethinks how we design smart homes and investigate how we interact with technologies at home. Homesense brings the open collaboration methods of online communities to physical infrastructures in the home.
WHY: Smart Homes have generally been more successful in concept than practice. The problem is not one of technology but of design – smart homes aren’t made by the people who will actually live in them, but by designers in R&D departments who have specific ideas about how they should be lived in.”
